Pearson Airport is hiring for almost 250 jobs right now and here’s how to apply

22 January 20263 Mins Read

Time to get out of that winter slump! If you’ve been feeling unmotivated at your job, or have been on the hunt for work in general, you’ve come to the right place. Pearson Airport is hiring for just under 250 jobs right now, and the roles span a variety of different fields, including communications, retail, engineering, and tech.

Interested? Applying is simple, and I’ll take you through the entire process.

The jobs

First things first, you need to find a role you’re interested in. The easiest way to find something that’s suited to you is to filter what you want. There are a bunch of filters you can choose from, like date posted, job type, and company. Pearson has companies within the airport you can work for (Prospect Health, CIBC, AECOM, Air Canada Rouge, just to name a few).

Select the role and hit “learn more” to see what the job entails, the qualifications you need, and anything else you can expect from the role.

“Apply now” will take you to a different page where you can upload a resume and cover letter, and read even more details on the position.

Some of the most recent posted positions include:

  • Senior Professional, Engineering, Electrical Wiring Design, Bombardier
  • Manager, Board Services, Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA)
  • Program & Project Control Coordinator, Bombardier
  • Document Control Coordinator, PACT
  • Tech Lead – Proactive Hiring, Air Canada
  • Senior Technologist, Quality Assurance, Bombardier
  • Maintenance Technician
  • Material Logistics Agent Sr
  • Technical Expert, Engineering, Liaison
  • Manager, Corporate Events & Activations, Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA)

The benefits

And now for the good stuff: The perks. Like most jobs, Pearson Airport employees can enjoy their own set of benefits. Here are some of the things you can look forward to:

  • Employee discount programs: Discounts on local products or services (gym memberships, vacation packages, restaurants and hotels.)
  • Recognition and reward programs: Rewards employees “for their outstanding performance and impact on our vision, strategic goals, values and behaviours.”
  • Paid leave: Vacation entitlements (grow over time) and family-related responsibilities.
  • Education and training
  • Employee assistance program: Private and confidential counselling services to help them deal with a range of issues.

In a time where finding full-time work can be a major challenge, it’s good to know there are companies that are looking to add people to their roster.

Good luck with your job hunt, Toronto, and maybe this is the first step towards your brand new career.
