Perdido Hotel Partners, LLC, an affiliate of Aurora Hospitality Partners, has announced the acquisition of the Perdido Beach Resort located in Orange Beach, Alabama. The transaction involves a group of investors, including Terry and Nick Saban, and entrepreneur Joe Agresti. The resort, a notable destination on Alabama’s Gulf Coast since its opening in 1987, features 338 rooms, over 43,000 square feet of event space, and four dining outlets.
The new ownership group intends to maintain the resort’s operations, with Aurora Hospitality Partners co-owning and managing the day-to-day activities. The resort will temporarily close for most of December and is scheduled to reopen on December 30, 2025, under new management.
Perdido Beach Resort has been a prominent location for visitors and families in the Southeast for nearly four decades. The acquisition aims to continue serving the community and visitors while preserving the resort’s legacy. Aurora Hospitality Partners, based in Alabama, will oversee the property’s management, with a focus on maintaining its historical significance and enhancing the guest experience.
