Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler announced the appointment of Peter Houston as Resort Manager. With nearly two decades of experience in luxury hospitality across Canada and the United States, Peter brings a deep passion for the mountains, a spirit of adventure, and a commitment to authentic guest connection.

Peter joins from Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole, where he helped lead a series of exciting transformations—from the launch of immersive new guest experiences like the 80 Proof Speakeasy and First Chair Market to enhancements across the resort’s dining and residential offerings.

Raised in the alpine communities of Park City and Telluride, Peter’s connection to the outdoors runs deep. He earned a degree in Hospitality Industry Management from the University of San Francisco and has shaped his career through leadership roles at renowned luxury hotels in British Columbia, San Francisco, and Napa Valley.

Known for his collaborative leadership style and ability to bring out the best in his teams, Peter creates environments where both guests and employees feel a true sense of belonging.

“Returning to Whistler is incredibly special,” says Peter. “This is a place where nature inspires daily, where passion is shared between guests and the team, and where every moment invites you to slow down, connect, and feel alive.”

Peter is joined in Whistler by his wife Jennifer, twin daughters Audrey and Harper, and their golden retriever, Millie—all excited to embrace life in the Coast Mountains.
