Placemakr has launched its first property in Salt Lake City, Utah. The property, managed in partnership with High Boy Ventures, a residential real estate development company, offers a blend of residential and hospitality-style stays.
The property in Salt Lake City’s downtown is part of Placemakr’s mission to introduce flexible real estate to every US metro. “This expansion into Salt Lake City for the first time is a big deal to us,” said Jason Fudin, CEO and Co-founder of Placemakr.
The new property features 100 studio, one, and two-bedroom units available for residential leasing and 45 fully furnished units for short-term stays. Residents and guests can enjoy premium amenities, including an outdoor lounge, a commercial-grade gym, and easy access to world-class ski resorts and natural attractions.
In addition to the residential offerings, the property will operate hospitality-style stays under the “Placemakr Salt Lake City” brand. This follows Placemakr’s recent expansions in Pittsburgh, San Antonio, and Santa Clara.
The property’s location puts residents and guests within walking distance of city attractions, including the Utah Jazz and new NHL team stadium, the Utah Symphony, the Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Discovery Gateway Children’s Museum.
Max Coreth, Managing Partner at High Boy Ventures, expressed excitement at the partnership. “This is a market that continues to grow when it comes to leisure and business demand, and Brix is perfectly located to meet that demand,” he said.
