PlayStation Plus’ February ‘free’ games let you punch Jake Paul, fly a fighter jet

28 January 20263 Mins Read

PlayStation Plus subscribers’ free Essential games for February 2026 are Undisputed, Subnautica: Below Zero, Ultros and, and Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced Wednesday. Players can download the trio of PlayStation games starting Tuesday, Feb. 3.

Undisputed is Steel City Interactive and Deep Silver’s 2024 boxing simulation/fighting game that promises authentic boxing with more than 60 individual punches, “revolutionary” footwork mechanics, and a suite of defensive tools. Players can create their own custom boxer and face more than 70 licensed fighters, including Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Robinson, and Tyson Fury. If you want, you can even beat up Jake Paul. Undisputed will be available on PlayStation 5.

With an art style as eclectic and mesmerizing as Ultros, you’ll want to check out this grounded sci-fi adventure from developer Hadoque and publisher Kepler Interactive. After waking up on a spaceship that’s the home to a demonic entity known as Ultros, players must do whatever it takes to prevent him from waking up. Ultros boasts time loops, intense combat, and gameplay features like tending to the plant life you find and unlocking secrets that help you better understand the world. Ultros will be available on the PS4 and PS5.

Unknown Worlds Entertainment Subnautica: Below Zero promises you a sub-zero adventure like no other. All you have to do is head to the arctic region of Planet 4546B and dive right in. A sequel to the 2019 hit, Below Zero invites players into brand-new environments that you’re encouraged to study and explore. But don’t get it twisted: these temperatures are no joke, and you’ll also have to scavenge for resources to survive. And that’s not even mentioning the creatures that lurk under the frozen depths alongside you. Spooky. Subnautica: Below Zero will be available on the PS4 and PS5.

Take to the skies in Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown. As Ace, an elite fighter pilot whose fierce tenacity makes them perfect for tackling anything the sky can throw at them, you’re tasked with dealing with dangerous aerial combat and tactical dogfights. Players will also be able to check out a variety of both futuristic and modern aircraft, as well as the explosive weapons that come with them. Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown will be available on the PS4.

February 2026’s PS Plus Essential games will be available for download through March 3.

PS Plus subscribers can still pick up January 2026’s PlayStation Plus Essential games — Need for Speed Unbound, Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, and Core Keeper — from the PlayStation Store through Feb. 3.

PlayStation Plus Essential is the lowest tier of Sony’s subscription game service. It offers online multiplayer access, a monthly assortment of free PS4 and PS5 games, cloud storage, and discounts on PlayStation Store purchases. PlayStation Plus Essential costs $79.99 annually, $24.99 for a three-month subscription, or $9.99 monthly.
