Pokémon Go ‘Adventure Week’ 2025 event guide

29 July 20252 Mins Read

Pokémon Go’s yearly “Adventure Week” event has kicked off for 2025, running from July 29 until Aug. 3. This event features the debut of Toedscool and its evolution Toedscruel, the weird land-based cousins of Tentacool and Tentacruel.

This event also introduces the shiny version of Wiglett and Wugtrio (yet another weird cousin of an existing Kanto Pokémon) and boasts a doubled XP bonus for catching Pokémon. All Incense used during the event (except Daily Adventure Incense) will also last for two hours rather than 30 minutes, encouraging you to get out there and explore around.

Below, we list the various event perks for Pokémon Go’s “Adventure Week” 2025 event, including the Timed Research and boosted spawns. Notably, the spawns are boosted depending on what biome you’re in, so you’ll want to pay attention to the backgrounds of the area while you’re catching Pokémon.

There’s both a free and premium version of the event research this time around. While the premium research is “worth it” for the coin value of the premium items given (Lucky Eggs, Incense, and an Incubator), I personally would not buy this bundle unless you need more of the aforementioned items.

You can see the premium and free research below.

Pokémon Go ‘Adventure Week’ premium Timed Research

Rewards: Trubbish encounter, 3 Lucky Eggs, 1,500 Stardust

Pokémon Go ‘Adventure Week’ free Timed Research

Rewards: 1 Incense, 5,000 Stardust, 5,000 XP

These Pokémon will spawn more frequently during the event period, in these respective biomes:
