Pokémon Go ‘Sunkissed Shores’ event guide

25 August 20253 Mins Read

Pokémon Go‘s latest event is “Sunkissed Shores,” debuting the huge fish Pokémon, Dondozo. The event runs from Aug. 25-31 and features other beachy Pokémon, like Tatsugiri.

The event also provides doubled XP from raids, and since Donzodo (and Tatsugiri) are primarily from raids, now’s a good time to spend your passes. Notably, Dondozo is actually debuting alongside its shiny form, so if you’re lucky, you may find a yellow Dondozo.

Below we list the other perks that are part of Pokémon Go‘s “Sunkissed Shores event, including the various Timed Research and boosted spawns.
