Sabrina Carpenter is known for her cheeky sense of humor and flirty repartee with her audience, but that doesn’t mean she’s going to let them push her around, especially not in the middle of a concert.
The “Espresso” songstress was taking a break from singing while at her concert in Manchester, England on March 14 when fans booed her, seemingly because she didn’t finish her beverage in one go.

In videos posted on social media by concert attendees, Carpenter could be seen drinking from a bottle and then putting it down, prompting fans in the front rows to chant “chug” over and over as she looked on with a smirk.

But the “chug” chant quickly turned to “boos” and the “Please Please Please” singer opened her mouth in shock. She then put her hands up in defeat and picked the bottle back up, polishing off her drink with a middle finger raised to the sky.
The crowd cheered wildly, but the moment Carpenter finished her beverage, she turned to the audience and firmly scolded them. “Never boo me again,” she said, as the audience continued to cheer and laugh at the moment.

That wasn’t the only time that Carpenter had to put the rowdy crowd in its place. As detailed by Cosmopolitan, Carpenter interacted with a fan, Cal, who shared that he’s from Liverpool, which caused the audience to erupt in boos.
“Guys, I’m not from here, so I don’t know what the f–k that’s about, but we’re not booing Cal,” Carpenter said. There is a longstanding rivalry between the two British cities, which are around 35 miles apart, but as Carpenter noted, “He didn’t choose to be born there” and traveled to see her. “He came to Manchester!” Carpenter exclaimed.
