Pose with thousands of golden sunflowers at this Ontario summer festival

9 July 20252 Mins Read

Fields of gold await you at Davis Family Farm in Caledon with its annual Sunflower Festival. From July 26 to Aug. 10, the beautiful sunflowers at Davis Farm will be in peak bloom, and it’s the perfect time to visit.

Rows and rows of bright, beautiful blooms fill an entire 40 acres, where guests are welcomed to walk through and take in the beauty. Dubbed the “Field of Dreams,” you’ll be swept up in the golden waves of sunflowers.

There are multiple ways to enjoy the farm! For a more classic country experience, meander through the property’s three kilometres of walking trails and the working farm’s 110+ acre property.

Head to the pink tufted couch placed right in the middle of the flowers and strike a pose. Davis Family Farm’s famous couch is perfect for Instagram shots or family photos. For more insta-worthy snapshots, the farm also has a beautiful piano in the field, where you can play a tune or two.

As one of the more photo-friendly sunflower fields, Davis Family closes the farm down at 6 p.m. to allow commercial photographers in, available by appointment only. Photography is encouraged, but guests are reminded to follow all signs and not to pick flowers in the field.

Keep the fun going with luxury picnics right beside the sunflowers or even attend a yoga session among the yellow blooms — talk about a sun(flower) salutation! For even more fun, visit the Sunflower Soiree on Friday, Aug. 1, for live music, drinks, and food in the field.

Tickets to the Sunflower Festival are $13.50 for adults and $5 for children. During the festival, the farm is open to the public daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., with last entry at 5 p.m.

Ready for a walk among the staggering sunflowers? Just 45 minutes from Toronto, the Sunflower Festival at the Davis Family Farm should be at the top of your summer to-do list.

When: July 26 to Aug. 10, 2025
Where: Davis Family Farm – 15770 Mountainview Rd., Caledon, Ont.
Cost: $5 per child or $13.50 per adult
