Radisson Hotel Group is enhancing its portfolio in Iberia by adding new hotels in Spain and a strategic refurbishment in Portugal. This move underscores the Group’s regional strategic growth, coupled with a commitment to providing dynamic new properties and elevated guest experiences.
The Group has announced its debut in Malaga and Tenerife, Spain, by signing a new-build hotel, Radisson RED Malaga, and Radisson Resort & Residences Tenerife, a landmark resort set for a full renovation. In Portugal, the Group is set to open Radisson RED Porto Gaia in Vila Nova de Gaia and has planned a significant investment for the refurbishment of Radisson Blu Hotel, Lisbon, slated to commence in 2025.
In recent years, Radisson Hotel Group has notably expanded its presence in Spain and the wider Iberian region with several new properties. With over 10 properties in operation and in development, the Group aims to grow in popular tourist destinations such as the Balearic Islands, Costa del Sol, and the Canary Islands. It also has plans to expand in major urban centers and key cities, including Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, Seville, Malaga, San Sebastián, and Valencia.
