The Radisson Hotel Group has opened Radisson Hotel Mersin in the Turkish port city of Mersin. This move is part of the group’s broader strategy to bolster its presence in Turkey, with a goal of operating 100 hotels by 2030.
Mersin, a city on the Mediterranean coast, is one of Turkey’s largest ports and a significant tourist destination. It offers visitors a mix of cultural heritage and natural beauty, with attractions such as the Mersin Marina, Tarsus Waterfall, Heaven and Hell Caves, and the Archaeology Museum. The city also hosts various cultural events, including the Mersin State Opera and Ballet, the Mersin International Music Festival, and the Orange Blossom Carnival.
The Radisson Hotel Mersin is conveniently located near Çukurova International Airport, with 68 rooms and suites featuring modern comforts, Scandinavian-inspired decor, coffee and tea facilities, and free Wi-Fi. The suites offer sea views and additional amenities.
The hotel’s restaurant, Turkuaz, serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and caters to various dietary requirements. Guests can also enjoy drinks at two hotel bars, one of which, The Blue Bar, offers cocktails made with local flavors.
The hotel has five meeting rooms with modern facilities for business or social events, including free Wi-Fi. It also features a grand ballroom that can accommodate large events.
For relaxation, guests can access the spa and wellness center, which offers traditional Turkish bath and massage services. A fitness center is also available for those who wish to maintain their exercise routine during their stay.
