Radisson Hotel Group and Accenture have launched an AI-powered hotel discovery app in ChatGPT under the handle @RadissonHotels.

The app allows travelers to search Radisson Hotels properties in more than 100 countries and across more than 1,000 hotels through ChatGPT conversations. Users can begin a new ChatGPT conversation with @RadissonHotels at the start of a prompt and request hotel recommendations based on destination, amenities or travel needs.

Examples include requests for a family-friendly weekend stay in Amsterdam or a Paris hotel with a gym and spa near the Eiffel Tower. The app returns Radisson Hotels properties with live inventory and rates, location context, amenities, hotel details and interactive map-based results. Travelers are directed to the Radisson Hotels website to complete reservations.

Accenture and Radisson Hotel Group used an MCP accelerator within Accenture’s AI Merchant Center during the app’s development. The work involved structuring, validating and optimizing Radisson Hotels content, inventory, rates and booking signals for AI-led discovery.

Accenture also worked with Radisson Hotel Group on the app’s design and on how travelers interact with it across devices. The app connects directly with Radisson Hotel Group’s existing systems to provide real-time hotel information.

The companies plan to expand the experience over time to include deeper personalization, loyalty recognition, in-chat booking, reservation management, trip modification and AI concierge capabilities.

According to Accenture’s Consumer Pulse Research, 87% of travelers are open to collaborating with an AI-powered travel agent to find the best option. The research also found that 71% of travelers said at least half of their spending for hotels or airlines will be influenced by AI over the next 12 months.

Radisson Hotel Group said organic and direct web traffic channels that have historically driven online bookings are giving way to touchpoints including ChatGPT.

The ChatGPT app is part of Radisson Hotel Group’s digital transformation and direct booking strategy. Accenture has supported the group in modernizing its digital and data foundation, uniting its brands on a single global platform and enabling personalized marketing across more than 1,000 hotels.

The work also builds on Accenture and OpenAI’s broader partnership involving the use of AI by organizations. Accenture is an OpenAI Elite Partner and was recently named OpenAI’s AI Transformation Partner of the Year.
