Radisson RED Auckland has officially opened at 33 Lorne Street, marking the brand’s entry into Australasia and Radisson Hotel Group’s first property in New Zealand.
Radisson RED Auckland has commenced operations in the city’s Arts District, offering 322 guest rooms and suites. The property includes a rooftop bar and event spaces, which are connected and positioned as the largest outdoor rooftop space in New Zealand. The rooftop venue can accommodate up to 219 guests in a cocktail-style setup and can be configured into four flexible rooms with natural light.
The hotel is located in Auckland’s Central Business District, within proximity to local attractions such as the Art Gallery, Civic Theatre, Sky Tower, Auckland Museum, Waiheke Island, and West Coast beaches. The property is pet-friendly and features gallery-style installations, lighting, and design elements inspired by the surrounding arts and performance culture. Higher-floor rooms provide views of the city skyline, and the Suite Panorama offers views of Auckland City, Albert Park, and the harbour.
Radisson RED Auckland includes an all-day dining venue and bar. The rooftop restaurant and bar, scheduled to open soon, will offer open-air views of the Sky Tower. The hotel’s fitness centre is open daily from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.
The property’s event spaces are designed for a variety of uses, including celebrations, live performances, pop-up events, weddings, and business functions. The venue can be adapted for both corporate and social occasions.
Radisson RED Auckland is the first Radisson RED property in the region and the first Radisson Hotel Group property in New Zealand.
