Radisson Hotel Group has announced the opening of Radisson Resort Khopoli in Maharashtra, India. This new addition to Radisson’s portfolio in the state further strengthens its presence in Maharashtra, joining other established brands such as Radisson Blu, Park Inn by Radisson, and Country Inn & Suites.
The resort is conveniently positioned near the cities of Mumbai and Pune, providing guests with a rejuvenating retreat from urban life. It is in close proximity to notable attractions like Imagicaa Water Park, Zenith Waterfall, and various ancient temples in the region. For those seeking outdoor exploration, a hike up to Mrugagad Fort offers stunning views of the nearby valley. The resort is also well-connected, with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai approximately a two-hour drive away, and Khopoli train station and bus stand reachable within 25 minutes.
Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director and Area Senior Vice President of Radisson Hotel Group South Asia, expressed that the launch is a key step in the group’s strategy to expand in rising leisure destinations across India. The resort aims to tap into the increasing demand for premium hospitality in unconventional locations. Sharma also highlighted the resort’s potential to be a preferred choice for leisure travelers, as well as a desirable location for weddings and celebrations.
The resort features 115 modern rooms and suites and provides a variety of dining options, including Charlotte, a restaurant serving global and Indian cuisine, and the Speakeasy Lounge, offering innovative cocktails. Guests can enjoy amenities such as a rooftop infinity pool, fitness center, and spa offering traditional wellness treatments. The resort also offers indoor and outdoor event spaces equipped with advanced audiovisual technology and customizable catering services, positioning it as an ideal destination for various events.
