Las Vegas veteran Randy Morton has been announced as the new general manager of Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas. This Hilton-owned luxury hotel, located on the renowned Las Vegas Strip, is a non-gaming and non-smoking property with 389 rooms.
Morton’s career spans three decades and has been marked by influential leadership roles. These include his ten-year-long tenure as President and COO of Bellagio Resort & Casino. He has also served as Vice President of Hotel Operations at Bellagio, President of OVG Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, and Co-CEO of Foley Entertainment Group and the Vegas Golden Knights. Before these roles, Morton held General Manager and Resident Manager positions at Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts across the United States, Hawaii, and Canada.
Morton’s appointment comes at a crucial time for Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas, as he is set to guide the final stages of a multi-million-dollar renovation across the property. This project features the recently launched reimagined 23rd floor, which includes the introduction of Peacock Alley, Waldorf Astoria’s signature tea lounge and bar, and Hard Shake, a sophisticated bar offering inventive cocktails set against the stunning Las Vegas skyline.
With his extensive background in luxury hospitality and deep local knowledge, Morton is expected to play a key role in driving the hotel’s evolution and further establishing it as a premier luxury destination on the Las Vegas Strip.
