“Sofia’s first snow day! 🤍,” the new mom wrote to caption her six-part Instagram carousel. The collection began with a snapshot of Alex, 27, holding baby Sofia in her arms while standing outside as snow carpeted the ground around her. Another photo included in the post showed Sofia tucked inside a stroller as the family went out for a stroll, with Mauricio and their dog, George, visible ahead of the stroller on the sidewalk. The collection ended with a couple of snapshots taken inside, with the infant all decked out in her cold weather clothing.
The trip outside “lasted approximately 3 mins,” Alex shared, “but at least we got these pics 🤣.”

Alex and Mauricio announced last summer that they were expecting their first child. Shortly thereafter, they shared a sweet gender reveal video showing the moment they learned that they were going to have a daughter.
In the months that followed, Alex provided fans with frequent updates on social media as she documented her pregnancy journey. Though she and her husband initially expected their baby to arrive in early January, they announced on Dec. 18 that their “perfect girl made her arrival a couple weeks early, just in time for Christmas!”
Drummond, 56, became a grandmother for the first time with Sofia’s arrival. The Food Network star has provided fans with updates of her own on social media, with one recent post revealing the name she anticipates her granddaughter will someday call her.
