Peachtree Group has completed the structural phase of a 10-story, 171-room Residence Inn by Marriott in downtown San Antonio, with an opening planned for summer 2026.

Peachtree Group has marked the topping out of the Residence Inn by Marriott in downtown San Antonio, Texas. The hotel, co-developed with Merritt Development Group, is a 10-story structure featuring 171 rooms. The project is scheduled to open in summer 2026.

The Residence Inn will include studio suites with kitchens, living and working areas, an on-site fitness center, meeting rooms, outdoor spaces, and a Starbucks. The hotel aims to serve travelers visiting San Antonio’s attractions such as the Riverwalk, the University of Texas at San Antonio’s downtown campus, and nearby corporate and government offices.

The development is located within a Qualified Opportunity Zone (QOZ), aligning with Peachtree’s investment strategy in growth areas. Peachtree is actively developing hotels in QOZs, with nine hotels already opened and five, including this Residence Inn, under construction. The project reflects Peachtree’s focus on economic growth in underserved regions.
