Marketing executive Bozoma “Boz” Saint John, 48, announced she and Keely Watson are officially engaged, as reported by People magazine.
Saint John, who joined the cast of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills during its 14th season, offered Bravo fans a glimpse of her romance with Watson, whom she began dating in 2024. Saint John’s first marriage was with Peter Saint John, the father of her 16-year-old daughter, Lael. Peter Saint John died in 2013.
While speaking to People magazine after her August 29 engagement, which was captured by Bravo cameras, Saint John shared the significance of having concrete plans to marry Watson.
“This engagement is my testimony: you can rise from grief, reclaim your joy, and still find a love worthy of your ‘yes.’ Keely is proof that God’s timing is perfect — and so is His plan. I’m saying yes to life, to love and to the miracle of second chances,” said Saint John during the People magazine interview.
She also said she didn’t expect Watson’s proposal, which included several of her loved ones, held at the West Hollywood, California establishment BOA Steakhouse.
“Even though I knew we wanted to get married, I wasn’t sure where or when Keely would ask. I am still in shock and disbelief. I was nervous because I thought about how it would be when he asked and I wanted to be able to be composed through it but that was hard to do because my emotions were at an all-time high,” said Saint John.
Keely Watson Discussed Planning the Engagement
During the People magazine interview, Watson shared that Saint John’s daughter and her assistant, Nico, helped him plan the proposal. He also revealed he had “14 dozen roses and had a mega bouquet of 100 roses” for the big day.
“I lined the walkway with a red carpet and candles, and I built a canopy draped in red to propose under. Around the canopy, there were more roses and candles,” said Watson to the publication.
During the People exclusive, Saint John showcased her diamond engagement ring, which totaled 8.43 carats. While speaking to the publication, Watson shared how he designed the perfect ring from 3 Soul Diamond Jewelers, a brand he partnered with, for his now-fiancee.
“The ring needed to embody her elegance, her prestige and be a display of my love for her and really highlight how much she means to me,” said Watson.

During a June 2025 interview on Black Love, Saint John discussed meeting Watson. According to Saint John, she was heartbroken following “a very terrible situation,” which led her to feel like she didn’t want to date again. However, “a month after” said experience, she was introduced to her now-fiancé.
Saint John explained she procured a painting from the artist Harmonia Rosales. Rosales’ husband, who is also her manager, is the nephew of Watson. After befriending Saint John, Rosales suggested she might be interested in going on a date with Watson.
During the June 2025 interview, Saint John discussed her first husband’s passing after a battle with cancer. She explained that they were separated for “two years before he got sick.” Before his diagnosis was terminal, he was dating a different woman, who would help with his appointments. However, Saint John said she decided she wanted to reconcile with her husband, whom she married in 2003, when he received his terminal prognosis.
“He was so happy in that decision,” said Saint John.
