Up until today, I think I have been fairly delicate with the easily manipulated among us as I work to dispel false narratives and empower people with practical knowledge regarding the most pressing matters.
Today, however, I woke up on the wrong side of the bed, and I will pull no punches as I write this letter …
Dear Sheep,
OK, some of you are already triggered … and if you hate being referred to as sheep, perhaps you should consider not acting like one! I refuse to be sheepish about my accurate opinions
You are embarrassing yourselves through your devotion to false idols.
And I believe that your glaring gullibility and lack of critical thought are the greatest risks to the future of humanity. You are supporting the bad guys, and it needs to stop before it is too late.
Five years ago, you dutifully masked up, stationed yourselves on your couches, and lined up to take experimental drugs under public health orders that made some people extremely rich and resulted in the death of a LOT of young people (Detailed analysis of 2021 death data reveals disturbing trends ).
You continue to believe that we are in the throes of an existential climate crisis despite overall consistent weather conditions, and despite climate alarmists being wrong in their predictions of doom 100% of the time over the last several decades (Severe whether alert – Is it time for news media groups to drop the charade? ).
You support the idea of quickly phasing out hydrocarbons (aka fossil fuels) even though they are the principal reason most of you have an extremely comfortable lifestyle, and there is no indication that oil, gas, and coal are going to be abandoned any time soon (Technology is the path to near limitless hydrocarbons).
Your favourite political party is the one that has consistently lied to you, has been embroiled in an endless string of scandals over the last decade, and has damaged the country severely in so many ways (Is Canada broken or not? ) … but their virtue-signalling speeches are just so darn compelling 🙄
However, it is not too late to wake up and be a person who ACTUALLY helps the world, rather than someone who PRETENDS to care about the world.
I summed up the situation through the words of Thomas Sowell in a post earlier this week:
“It is usually futile to try to talk facts and analysis to people who are enjoying a sense of moral superiority in their ignorance.”
Because it is only “usually”, I will continue to fight to convince the overly trusting (My war against really nice people – Stage 3 ) and virtue signallers to think critically.
If you are still reading and you still believe that you are correct to trust in any of the narratives listed above, please, for the love of facts, challenge me. Bring some evidence that supports your position. We can discuss it respectfully and constructively.
But, whatever you do, stop supporting the bad guys. Our society’s future depends on it.
