Earlier this week, the “Forever Young” artist took to social media with a new photo of himself posing alongside his wife and kids while attending the Celtic versus St. Mirren game on Sunday, Jan. 5.
The recent upload showed the Grammy winner surrounded by his loved ones, all of whom wore matching ensembles that featured green and white striped jerseys branded with the Celtic FC insignia.
Stewart appeared in the upper right corner of the image, smiling wide as he posed with six of his eight children: Sean, 44, Ruby, 37, Renee, 32, Liam, 30, Alistair, 19, and Aiden, 13. His wife of nearly 18 years, Penny Lancaster, was also in the group shot, which is the first family photo either of them have shared in quite some time. (Additionally, Stewart has two other daughters, Sarah, 60, and Kimberly, 45.)

“From the streets of North London to the world stage,” he wrote in the accompanying caption. “It all started here. #RodStewart80.”
Just as he reflects on years past fondly, Stewart has also expressed excitement about the future of his career. This year alone, he has over three dozen concerts booked in the U.S. and North America, as well as an additional 11 shows booked across Europe.
