Sabre has appointed Niklas Andréen as Chief Commercial Officer, Airline Tech, and Darren Rickey as Senior Vice President, Strategic Commercial Partnerships.
Sabre has named Niklas Andréen as Chief Commercial Officer, Airline Tech, a new role created to accelerate execution following the company’s technology platform rebuild. Andréen will oversee global airline sales, account management, commercial strategy, business development, and customer support. He will work with airline partners to scale adoption, deepen strategic relationships, and drive customer-centric retailing initiatives. Andréen will also collaborate with Andy Finkelstein, Chief Commercial Officer of Travel Marketplace, to advance a unified approach for sellers, suppliers, and travelers.
Andréen has more than 30 years of experience in technology and travel, with senior leadership roles at Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT), B&B Hotels, Dreamlake, and Travelport. He holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics and has completed executive programs at The Wharton School.
Sabre has also appointed Darren Rickey as Senior Vice President, Strategic Commercial Partnerships. Rickey, a Sabre veteran with more than 25 years of experience, will focus on advancing growth initiatives and strategic partnerships. His background includes experience in product management, delivery, and commercial leadership.
