A fiery new event is heating up Vaughan this weekend, and it’s one you won’t want to miss. Asado is Toronto’s newest Latin cultural festival inspired by the traditional Argentinian open-fire grill.
When is Asado?
Toronto Latinos and Copacabana have teamed up to bring the thrilling event to Assembly Park from June 28 to 30. They’re bringing sizzling flavours, non-stop music, and high-energy fun to the GTA.
This three-day experience is all about celebrating Latin American culture through food, art, and community.
What to expect
Festival-goers can expect a vibrant lineup of local and international performers, live Latin music, and jaw-dropping art installations, all while the mouthwatering scent of asado fills the air.
Of course, the highlight is the Argentinian asado itself. This practice is a traditional method of barbecuing over an open flame. Not only is it a delicious culinary experience, but a social one, too.
Expect juicy grilled meats, flavour-packed dishes, and the kind of meals best enjoyed surrounded by friends and family.
Beyond the food, the festival will also feature salsa dancing and family-friendly activities.
Whether you’re going for the music, the dancing, the food, or the community vibes, Asado promises a weekend full of energy, flavour, and unforgettable moments.
