Sandra Estornell has been named managing director of The Little Nell, Residences at The Little Nell and Aspen Mountain Club in Aspen.
Estornell has more than two decades of hospitality experience in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Latin America. Most recently, she was chief operating officer of Assets Group, where she led strategy and performance across a hospitality portfolio and worked with owners and property leaders.
Earlier in her career, Estornell was assistant rooms executive at The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch. She later held global corporate leadership positions and served as general manager at several Ritz-Carlton properties, including Zadún, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve; The Ritz-Carlton Panama; and The Ritz-Carlton Santiago.
Estornell has also led more than 25 luxury hotel openings worldwide.
Her appointment follows the launch of Nell Hotels, Aspen Hospitality’s new luxury hotel brand. The Little Nell is the brand’s founding property and is preparing for its first comprehensive renovation in more than three decades.
The Little Nell is Aspen’s only Five Star, Five Diamond hotel.
