V Capri Palm Springs will enter its next phase under the management of sbe Entertainment Group. The 143-room hotel, located minutes from downtown Palm Springs, will remain a Dolce by Wyndham property and is owned by Mark Geragos. Planned changes include a multi-million-dollar enhancement and the introduction of new restaurant brands.
The property will join sbe’s HQ Hotels & Residences collection. The renovation will feature refreshed accommodations, revitalized public spaces, and new food and beverage offerings, with updates to both guest rooms and public areas.
Later this year, the hotel will debut Umami Pool, an adults-only day-to-night venue featuring food, cocktails, and entertainment. In early 2027, the current Gigi’s Restaurant will transition to Katsuya Ko, introducing sbe’s pan-Asian dining concept to Palm Springs. Additional cosmetic enhancements to guestrooms and public spaces are also planned.
The enhancements are designed to create new gathering areas for overnight guests and local visitors. The project is backed by strategic partner and equity investor Marc Anthony and his company Magnus.
V Capri Palm Springs’ addition to the HQ Hotels & Residences portfolio follows recent openings of The Monarch Hotel in New Orleans and Hodges Bay Resort & Spa in Antigua. Forthcoming HQ Hotels & Residences projects include HQ Cas En Bas Resort & Residences in Saint Lucia and HQ Residences Edgewater in Miami
