Scott Berger will become general manager of Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, a Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star property, effective April 6, 2026. In this role, Berger will oversee all aspects of the hotel’s operations.
Berger most recently served as hotel manager of the Peninsula London and completed leadership training across the Peninsula brand’s portfolio. He has also held positions at Forbes Five-Star properties in Los Angeles, including a regional general manager role overseeing a West Coast portfolio for a luxury hospitality group during the pandemic.
Berger began his career at a luxury hotel in Beverly Hills, spending 15 years progressing from assistant front office manager to hotel manager. His background includes leadership in Beverly Hills civic organizations, serving as Chair of the Beverly Hills CVB for 2023-24, as a board member of the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce from 2020-24, and as a member of the Beverly Hills Rotary. Berger holds a B.S. in Hotel Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Berger’s appointment follows the February 2026 debut of Baldi, a Tuscan steakhouse at Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills led by Chef Edoardo “Edo” Baldi. The hotel’s Rooftop is currently undergoing a redesign by Marc Ange, with a new al fresco dining concept led by Chef Peleg Miron scheduled to open in early May.
