Scott Ward, a hospitality veteran with more than three decades of experience in the industry, has been named the new General Manager of Signia by Hilton Atlanta.
Ward’s industry experience is extensive and varied. His most recent role saw him manage Hilton Tampa Downtown and Embassy Suites by Hilton Tampa Downtown Convention Center, where his duties included overseeing 882 rooms and 55,000 square feet of meeting space.
In his new role at Signia by Hilton Atlanta, Ward’s responsibilities will encompass all aspects of hotel operations. From sales and marketing strategies to ensuring guest satisfaction, he will manage the hotel’s day-to-day functions.
The appointment comes at a crucial time for the hotel, which is aiming to cement its position as a premier destination for meetings and events in Atlanta. Ward’s proven leadership and operational expertise are expected to be instrumental in achieving these goals.
Ward began his journey in the hospitality industry in 2009 when he joined Hilton as the Resident Manager of Hilton Waikoloa Village. He later took on various roles in New Orleans, such as the Resident Manager at Hilton New Orleans Riverside and General Manager at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel New Orleans.
In 2019, he served as General Manager of Embassy Suites by Hilton Tampa Downtown Convention Center before taking on the role of Complex General Manager at two hotel properties: DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Washington DC-Crystal City and Embassy Suites by Hilton Crystal City National Airport.
Before his tenure at Hilton, Ward also held positions at Crowne Plaza and Interstate Hotels & Resorts, further expanding his experience in the hospitality sector.
