Second Seasons of ‘My Dress Up Darling’ ‘Blue Lock’ & ‘Mushoku Tensei’ Are Coming to Netflix in May 2026

Netflix has been a treasure trove for licensed anime in recent months, and some very recent arrivals, My Dress Up Darling, Blue Lock, and Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation, will see their second seasons licensed to Netflix on May 25, 2026.

My Dress Up Darling and Blue Lock were added to Netflix on April 25, 2026, while Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation was added to Netflix in international territories (excluding the USA) on April 25, 2026.

Much like Windbreaker, which saw a month in between the releases of its first and second seasons on Netflix, we have confirmation that the second seasons of three anime will be released on Netflix on May 25, 2026.

The second season of My Dress Up Darling continues to follow the friendship and blooming romance of Marin Kitagawa and Wakana Gojou. Thanks to Kitagawa, Gojou has come out of his shell by making her cosplays, growing his love for sowing and for the hina dolls his grandfather taught him to make. However, Gojou’s kindness and dedication have Kitagawa struggling to hide her feelings for him, as more of their friends and strangers mistake them for a couple.

The second season of Blue Lock is controversial amongst the fanbase, with the discourse surrounding the animation. The standard dropped significantly from the first to the second season, leaving many fans disappointed. However, the story is still interesting enough to pique your interest as it continues to follow Isagi Yochi’s journey in Blue Lock, as he and the remaining 35 candidates must fight for a place on the Blue Lock starting team that will take on Japan’s U-20 team.

The remaining 25 episodes of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation will be added to Netflix (excluding the USA), including a special OVA episode. Rudeus Greyrat found a level of happiness he’d been desperately seeking since entering the world after his relationship with Eris Boreas Greyrat reached a new level, but that happiness is short-lived when she abandons him for a new adventure. Depressed by her departure, Rudeus has lost his love for adventuring, but after joining the party Counter Arrow on a quest, a near-death experience whips him back into shape and snaps him out of his rut.
