Secret Garden Abyss puzzle walkthrough in Crimson Desert

31 March 20264 Mins Read

The Secret Garden Abyss puzzle in Crimson Desert leads to the lovely, lush type of floating garden you’d expect from such a name. Getting there, however, isn’t easy, as you must solve a tricky laser puzzle first. And when that’s done, an easily-overlooked cable might cause further confusion. Of course, a shiny new abyss artifact will reward you for your troubles in the end.

Here’s how to solve the Secret Garden Abyss puzzle in Crimson Desert.

How to unlock the Secret Garden Abyss in Crimson Desert

To reach the Secret Garden Abyss puzzle in Crimson Desert, you must follow the main story to the end of Chapter 4. After you’ve defeated Tenebrum at the Scholastone Institute and solved the Spire of the Stars puzzle, you must do the Obsession and Madness quest, which will take you into the Sanctorum of Insight Abyss. From there, you can take the skybridge to the Secret Garden Abyss.

Cross the floating rocks, take the square elevator platform downward, and cross another line of floating rocks. On the slightly larger island, step onto the round teleporter in the middle, which will teleport you inside the Secret Garden.

First, walk upstairs to activate the abyss nexus teleport waypoint. See the doorway with the blue and orange lights ahead? Your goal is to adjust the laser beams, so that they turn both lights blue and activate the fan inside the doorway. For now, glide to the nook to the right of this blocked doorway, and use Axiom Force to pick up the floating blue stone.

Move the blue stone toward the empty square slot on the east side of the room. Get it as close as possible, then go back to the platform with the abyss nexus. From there, make sure the blue stone is floating right in front of the square slot, glide down, and use Force Palm to secure it.

Now, use Axiom Force on the back of the large round device you just activated and move its laser beam to the mirror on the right. Adjust the beam until it connects to the doorway light on the right (the light that was already blue).

Fly to the large round device on the opposite (west) side of the room. Use Axiom Force as you did before, and move the laser beam to the higher mirror. Adjust the beam until it’s connected to the left doorway light, thus turning both lights blue:

Pass through the doorway and use the wind current to fly upward. To restore the Secret Garden, connect the conduit (thick cable) just beside the hole and use Force Palm on the large round platform behind it.

Don’t forget to grab the abyss artifact before you leave! If you want, you can pass through the skybridge and make your way across the floating rocks to reach the Vault of Vengeance.

Just starting out in Crimson Desert? We have guides to help you learn the basics and refresh your memory on how some of its systems work. The world of Pywel is huge, so you might have a hard time deciding where to go first, but you can make your journey a little easier with the help of our interactive map. Along the way, make sure to learn a few life skills like fishing, logging, cooking, and mining, all of which can help you make money.

We also have walkthroughs for puzzles in the Abyss like the Root’s End and Precipice of Truth, as well as ancient ruins like the Dragon’s Stone Chamber.
