‘Sex and the City’ Stars' Epic Reunion Moment Has Fans Saying ‘Better Than the Reboot’

It was a Sex and the City cast reunion on the red carpet for Golden Eve, which celebrates the honorees for the year’s Cecil B. DeMille Award and Carol Burnett Award recipients ahead of the Golden Globe Awards.

Sarah Jessica Parker (Carrie) will receive the Carol Burnett Award at the annual awards show on Sunday, Jan. 11. To help celebrate her honor, Parker was joined by her Sex and the City co-stars Kristin Davis(Charlotte), Evan Handler (Harry), and David Eigenberg (Steve).

The foursome posed on the red carpet together, but an epic moment with their children is what really has fans talking. People magazine captured footage of the moment where Parker was left nearly speechless as she was introduced to Eigenberg’s daughter, Myrna.

It was smiles all around for Myrna as Parker said, “Oh My God, I have heard so much about you,” before introducing her oldest child, James, to Myrna. James exchanged pleasantries with Eigenberg and Myrna.

Handler even got in on the action, having his own special moment with Eigenberg and his daughter on the red carpet. There’s no question that watching Parker and Eigenberg’s kids interact was an epic moment for Sex and the City fans.

The comments section of People’s Instagram video of the red carpet moment was filled with fans gushing over the fact that some of the gang were back together with their kids.

“OMG full circle moment❤️,” gushed a fan. A different fan added, “Better than the reboot😂.”

Another fan said, “Please give us more!!!”

One fan expressed, “Now this I like. Show me more. Beautiful!”

“This is too cute 😍,” “❤️ Love it!” “This is heaven,” and “So polite ❤️,” were more comments about the reunion moment.

Some fans were focused on Eigenberg, including one who knows him from his role as Christopher Herrmann on Chicago Fire, not Steve on Sex and the City. “Wait that guys from SATC! I know him from Chicago fire😂,” marveled the fan.

Another fan, though, declared, “Steve looks great!” and a different one shared, “Steve has always been the best.”

Not all fans were buying that Parker and Eigenberg’s kids have never met. “What do you mean the kids have never met? 🤨 I find that hard to believe. 😂” wrote one fan. Another one stated, “Kids never met? That says something.”

Different opinions aside, it sure was great to see the Sex and the City cast on the red carpet again. The reunion has fans wanting more of the show, and Parker has hinted that just might happen.
