Shake Shack is bringing back its viral Dubai Chocolate-inspired milkshake.
The fan-favorite burger chain originally whipped up the frozen treat for the UAE and it later made its U.S. debut in April 2025. Once available stateside, supplies didn’t last long as fans rushed to get a sip of what was then its most expensive milkshake. It sold out at multiple locations within minutes, per the brand, which still calls the flavor its “most successful limited-time shake ever.” A few months later, the chain revived the ultra-limited-edition milkshake, thrilling customers across the country, before it subsequently inspired two additional “crackable” shakes and topped the list of “most-requested returning menu items on social.”
Fast forward to this summer, and the flavor trend is still hot as ever, popping up everywhere from Starbucks to Lindt and even Baskin-Robbins. And for a limited time this season, Shake Shack’s viral Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Shake will be back on menus nationwide.
Shake Shack’s Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Shake Is Back for Summer 2026
In case you missed it last year, Shake Shack’s “luxurious” treat is made with real pistachio frozen custard, blended up with toasted kataifi (sweet shredded phyllo) and topped with chopped pistachios and crunchy kataifi. It’s then carefully coated in a “crackable” dark chocolate shell.

The company calls it a “premium, one-of-a-kind experience” that brings the “iconic crack of the Dubai chocolate bar to life in shake form,” and reviewers largely agree with one of Parade‘s own editors rating it a “10/10.”
“I’m going to have dreams about this shake 😍,” one TikTok user wrote alongside a video review last year.
“The perfect milkshake in my professionally unprofessional opinion,” another added at the time.
“Yea no this gets an 11/10 off the rip😻🙌🏼🍫 It was worth every penny.. go try yours before it’s too late!!” one more declared.

“When we first developed the Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Shake, we set out to do something Shake Shack had never done before,” John Karangis, Shake Shack’s executive chef and vice president of culinary innovation, explained in a statement shared with Parade. Citing the treat’s “crackable” chocolate shell lining and “premium ingredients” like “fresh pistachio paste, and toasted kataifi,” the chain said the end result perfectly captures the “signature layers and textures of the viral Dubai chocolate bar.”
“The response from our guests was humbling and told us everything we needed to know,” Karangis teased, adding, “This summer, we’re bringing it back with the same premium ingredients and the same attention to detail that made it our most successful shake to date. For anyone who hasn’t tried it yet, this is your moment.”
When Will the Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Shake Be Available at Shake Shack?
According to an official announcement, the viral milkshake flavor is back by popular demand beginning today (Tuesday, June 9) for a limited time, presumably while supplies last (prices may vary).
