The peacock streaming soap opera Days of our Lives has confirmed when fan favorite Ciara Alice Brady played by Victoria Konefal will be returning and it’s sooner than you might think.
Konefal will be returning to the streaming series starting this Friday, May 23, when Ciara and her mother Hope (Kristian Alfonso) reunite as her father Bo (Peter Reckell) health takes a turn for the worst and he is being administered his last rites.
The official YouTube channel gave a first look at Konefal’s return, as she reunites with her on-screen parents.
Fans have been very excited about Konefal’s return, with one user taking to X (Formerly twitter) to say, “I can’t wait for Bo to wake up and be reunited with Hope, Shawn and Ciara! Plus I am excited for him to come back to Salem and be reunited with Roman and Kayla. #Days#Bope.”
Konefal was last seen in 2024, when the character returned for the memorial service of her on-screen grandfather Doug Williams (Bill Hayes). She was able to reunite with her grandmother Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes), her brother Shawn (Brandon Beemer), mother Hope, and many more. After the memorial, Ciara left town and reunited with her husband Ben Weston and their two children, Bo and Addie Weston.
Meanwhile, her on-screen father Bo left Salem in November 2012, but he and his wife Hope remained married until September 2014, when Bo filed for divorce. In 2015, Bo returned to Salem to be with his “Fancy Face” and saved Hope from being murdered by her new husband Aiden Jennings. Bo was then quickly diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor and passed away… only it turns out that Bo didn’t die.
Megan Hathaway took control of Bo’s body and with the help of Dr. Rolf was able to keep Bo in a state of existence, curing him of his ailments. Bo was awakened in 2021 during Beyond Salem Season 2. Bo was not himself as he was suffering from Megan’s manipulation. He lured Hope out and attempted to murder her. However, he was stopped and shot by his son Shawn Douglas moments before taking Hope’s life. Since then, Bo has been in a coma. Now his body is going into sepsis and his organs are failing. Shawn is attempting to find a cure, but will it be too late?
Additional returning faces appearing on the soap opera this year include Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), her father Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), and his wife Jennifer Deveraux (Melissa Reeves). Also returning this year are twins Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney), Sami’s son, Will Horton (Chandler Massey), and his daughter who is also Sami’s granddaughter, Arianna Horton (Marissa Reye). Also making an appearance this year will be Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis), and his wife Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley).
