Shoppers Are Rushing to Aldi For This Luxe 6-Piece Pretty Purple Towel Set

9 August 20253 Mins Read

Purple is kind of like the drama queen of the color wheel in the best way. It can be regal, it can be cutesy and it can even be a little bit moody. Deep shades feel luxe and powerful, while lighter lilacs bring soft, dreamy vibes.

Lately I’ve been loving all of the purple products popping up in the Aldi Finds aisle. From kitchen necessities to bedding, they’ve really been bringing it on the purple front.

Of course one of the best things about Aldi Finds is their affordability, and the retailer’s new Kirkton House 6-Piece Towel Set in purple is a total steal at just $14.99.

The set comes with two full-size bath towels, two hand towels and two wash cloths. They’re 100% cotton, which you want in a bath towel for a few reasons. For starters, 100% cotton means these will be super soft but also absorbent. Cotton is naturally breathable so it soaks up water fast but also dries out without getting stiff or scratchy. Plus, it’s durable enough to handle constant washes while staying fluffy and cozy, so your post-shower wrap always feels like a treat.

Here’s how often you should replace towels

Sadly, even the best bath towels aren’t forever friends, even if they feel so luxe at the start of your journey together. After about two years they’ll start to lose their fluff, fade in color and smell…suspicious, no matter how much detergent you use. If they’ve gone from spa-soft to sandpaper, it’s time to treat yourself to fresh, fluffy replacements.

Tips for washing towels

Aldi themselves suggests watching their Kirkton bath towel set on cold with like colors, using a normal cycle. Also, use non-chlorine bleach sparingly, like seriously only when absolutely necessary. Tumble dry towels on low to max out their lifespan.

Another important note: don’t use fabric softener on your towels. This can actually break down the fibers and make them deteriorate faster. Instead, try a cup of white vinegar added to your rinse cycle. Vinegar cuts through detergent buildup that makes towels stiff, restores absorbency and leaves them feeling fresh.
