A Sister Wives star appeared to hint at past drama with her ex-husband, Kody Brown, in a cryptic social media post.
Janelle Brown, Kody’s second wife, has been keeping fans updated as she settles into a new life in North Carolina. After more than two years, the TLC star is moving into a new home on the Taeda Farms property she purchased with her daughter and son-in-law, Maddie and Caleb Brush.
In a new Instagram post, Brown posted a photograph with a slideshow of six statements. The reality star appeared to hint at her life before moving on without her polygamist family, which included Kody, Meri Brown, Christine Brown Woolley, and Robyn Brown.
She wrote, “One of the things Taeda Farms represents for me is something I didn’t fully appreciate until I was living it. For most of my life, decisions were shared.”

“There was always someone to run an idea past, someone’s who’s opinion naturally became part of the process. Checking in. Asking what someone else thought before trusting my own instinct.”
Brown concluded, “Designing this place has been different. The land, the plans, the details, every decision has been mine to make.”

Janelle Brown separated from her husband, Kody Brown, in December 2022. In 2025, she received a spiritual release from their union. The couple has six children: Logan, Madison, Hunter, Garrison, Gabriel, and Savannah.
Sister Wives is currently on hiatus.
