SiteMinder Deepens Support for Latin American Hotels with Mexico Office Launch

SiteMinder, the world’s leading hotel distribution and revenue platform, has opened a new office in Mexico, marking a significant expansion of its Latin American operations. The office serves as a strategic hub, strengthening SiteMinder’s presence across multiple countries at a time when properties connected to the platform in Latin America have grown by over 30% in the past two years.

As SiteMinder’s largest market in the region, Mexico now has dedicated support and customer success teams serving diverse properties—from vacation rentals to all-inclusive resorts—across key destinations including Riviera Maya, Mexico City, Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta.

Beyond Mexico, the office will expand operations in Colombia, Peru, Chile and Costa Rica, enhancing regional engagement and ensuring stronger connections with local partners and hotel associations in these emerging markets.

“The hospitality landscape in Latin America is incredibly dynamic, with hotels adapting to shifting traveler expectations, intensifying competition, and diversifying source markets, all while managing seasonal swings,” says Alfredo Rodríguez, SiteMinder’s country manager in Mexico. “What they need from technology partners isn’t more complexity—it’s intelligent solutions, delivered locally, that simplify their operations and free them to focus on what matters most: their guests.”

The constantly evolving nature of the industry is evident in recent data, with average hotel stays in Mexico shifting from 3.09 to 3.22 days, Canadian arrivals increasing 10% compared to the previous summer and rates decreasing by approximately 4%. This fast-changing environment has transformed the hotelier profile across the region, with properties now more actively seeking connectivity and automation tools—a marked shift.

“We’re here to be true partners in their success,” adds Rodríguez. “By establishing a stronger regional presence, we’re ensuring Latin American hotels have the tools, support and global connectivity they need to thrive in today’s dynamic market—because every property, regardless of size or location, deserves access to world-class technology and expertise.”
