Stanley Tucci has gone from Conclave to the kitchen.
The veteran actor who just launched his new cooking series, Cards on the Table, recently took to Instagram to share some of his culinary skills.
“Celebratory cooking this afternoon, I am happy to be back in my kitchen and delighted that Conclave picked up best Ensemble at the SAG awards on Monday night. A wonderful ensemble indeed,” he posted on his Instagram account along with an accompanying video.

In the clip, Tucci’s wife, literary agent Felicity Blunt, is heard asking the actor what he’s making? “Pasta pozole,” the actor answers. As the video rolls, Blunt continues to pepper the actor-chef with questions.
“Where did you just come home from?”
“Los Angeles,” Tucci answers.
“Where you won an ensemble award,” Blunt adds.
Tucci confirms that was the case, but adds, “Unfortunately, I couldn’t be there, but I was very happy for all of us.”
“It’s a great movie, Conclave,” Tucci adds.
Blunt notes he’s celebrating his return home by cooking, to which Tucci adds, “And coming off a flight ‘cause I haven’t been able to cook for a few days, so I like to make something hearty. Might make a little soup now.”
“Is that going to be my dinner?” Blunt asks.
“Sure, if you want to it to be,” Tucci adds while Felicity laughs.
“I’m delirious. Red eye,” the actor confesses.
“I know,” Blunt says. “That’s why I’m filming. It’s funny.”

Tucci’s new web cooking series, Cards on the Table, is produced by the footwear company Allbirds. The four episodes feature Tucci throwing dinner parties for a trio of different celebrities on each show. Guests include Sophie Turner, Queer Eye’s Tan France, Henry Golding, Molly Ringwald, Spice Girl Mel C and comedian Hasan Minhaj.
However, it’s not all about the food. The guests and Tucci also get the conversation going with questions from a deck “discussion cards,” penned by Dr. Orna Guralnik, known for the Showtime series Couples Therapy.
