The holidays are definitely the most wonderful time of year at Starbucks, with fans looking forward to festive new menu items, cups, and other merchandise for months in advance.
So it’s no surprise that the coffee chain’s devoted customers are already raving about the introduction of a brand new Starbucks Stanley tumbler scheduled to go on sale starting Nov. 7—though it’s not everybody’s holiday dream come true.
The new Berry Pink Glitter Stanley Tumbler, which will retail for $54.95, is guaranteed to “bring some holiday cheer to any sip,” according to the Starbucks website, but Reddit users had mixed feelings about the cup.

“Can they stop with the pinks?! My wallet can’t handle it!! 🤣,” joked one person.
“I honestly really want this i’m obsessed w the color 😫 but i want it to be decently glittery,” wrote another Redditor.
Other commenters were less enthusiastic about the raspberry shade.
“I was hoping for a red, a cranberry, a gold. They release so many pinks 😭,” complained a disappointed Starbucks customer.
“I wished a red cup too 🙁,” agreed someone else. “This color is more in line with the Wicked theme than the Holiday theme. I still hope they will drop a ‘real’ Holiday cup.”

In a video shared to TikTok, the cup was definitely more pink than red, with a very subtle sparkly finish.

Starbucks-lovers looking for glitzier holiday-themed drinkware might be happier with one of the other new cups also available for purchase beginning on Nov. 7.
The 24 oz. Gemstone Cold Cup ($24.95) has a diamond-like finish, while another version of the same cup “features a geometric pattern reminiscent of sapphire gemstones.” The 24 oz. Red Studded Cold Cup ($29.95), “adorned with crimson red studs,” is also significantly more shiny than the Berry Pink Glitter Stanley Tumbler.
