Starhotels Reopens Hotel Gabrielli in Venice After Renovation

25 August 20252 Mins Read

  • Hotel Gabrielli Venice, Originally Opened in 1856

Starhotels has reopened Hotel Gabrielli in Venice as a 5-star property after completing extensive renovations.

Starhotels has reopened Hotel Gabrielli in Venice as a 5-star hotel following a significant renovation. Located on Riva degli Schiavoni, the hotel is positioned near Piazza San Marco. The renovation focused on preserving original architectural elements while incorporating modern design features.

The property offers 66 rooms and suites, including a Presidential Suite with a private rooftop terrace. Starhotels operate the hotel as part of its Collezione brand. The renovation project involved Milanese designer Andrea Auletta and aimed to maintain the building’s historical integrity while adding contemporary touches.

The hotel’s façade has been restored, featuring Quadrifora windows that overlook San Giorgio Maggiore. The property includes a 600-square-meter private garden, one of the largest in Venice, with features such as olive trees and antique marble tubs.

Culinary offerings at the hotel are led by Executive Chef Mirko Pistorello, focusing on local ingredients and traditional Venetian cuisine. The Felice al Gabrielli Restaurant and the K Lounge Bar are key dining venues within the hotel. The Terrazza Gabrielli on the sixth floor provides panoramic views of Venice and includes a sky bar.

The hotel also features a spa with facilities such as a sauna, hammam, and treatment room. The reopening of Hotel Gabrielli marks its inclusion in The Leading Hotels of the World collection.
