Surf & Sand Resort in Laguna Beach, California Completes Renovation Program

Surf & Sand Laguna Beach has completed a major renovation, introducing updated facilities and redesigned spaces.

Surf & Sand Laguna Beach, a resort located on the coast of Southern California, has recently finalized a comprehensive property-wide renovation. The updated resort now features 165 redesigned guest rooms and suites, each with private balconies offering ocean views. The renovation extends to the resort’s public spaces, including a new lobby and lounge area, enhanced conference facilities, and the introduction of the Aquaterra Spa.

The guest rooms and suites have been upgraded to include features such as Italian marble finishes, bespoke furniture, and integrated personalized technology. The design aims to maximize the natural light and ocean views, with glass patio doors and updated balcony furnishings.

Dining options at the resort have also seen significant enhancements. The Splashes restaurant, known for its coastal cuisine, has been reimagined along with its bar and the Bella Vista Terrace. These areas have been redesigned to offer brighter and more vibrant aesthetics, emphasizing ocean views and featuring a custom-designed Chihuly Chandelier.

The resort’s new lobby lounge offers panoramic ocean views upon arrival. Its design incorporates classical Mediterranean architecture blended with Southern California style. This space also showcases a curated collection of artwork from local and national artists.

For wellness and relaxation, the Aquaterra Spa has been completely renovated and now includes eight treatment rooms and a range of holistic services. The resort continues to offer beach yoga and other wellness activities.

Event and conference facilities have also been upgraded. Surf & Sand now features 20,000 square feet of event space, split evenly between indoor and outdoor areas with ocean views. 

The resort is part of JC Resorts, which owns several other properties and golf courses across the West Coast.
