Tamarack Resort has begun construction on a new public marina on Lake Cascade, Idaho, with completion expected by Memorial Day Weekend in 2026. The marina will feature 100 boat slips available for seasonal rental, on-water fuel services, and a retail and rental cabana. Additionally, food and beverage services will be provided for both resort guests and the general public.
The marina will also feature enhanced lakefront amenities, including a dedicated swim area, expanded beaches, a sand volleyball court, and a variety of motorized and non-motorized boat rentals, such as stand-up paddleboards, kayaks, and Hobie-style catamarans. The project is part of a long-term lease agreement with the State of Idaho and has received approval from the Bureau of Reclamation.
The marina will operate as a public facility, adhering to state and federal guidelines, and aims to improve existing public access at Poison Creek. This development is expected to bring significant infrastructure improvements to support boating, swimming, and lake recreation for resort guests, residents, and visitors.
Details regarding pricing and reservations for the seasonal slip rentals will be announced in the coming months. Tamarack Resort encourages interested parties to follow updates on their website.
