Taylor Frankie Paul’s ‘Bachelorette’ Season Gets Major New Update

A new update on Taylor Frankie Paul‘s Bachelorette season has emerged.

Earlier this month, longtime Bachelor insider Reality Steve claimed the season will air this summer on ABC.

There has been no official word from the network just yet, but the blogger and podcaster has correctly spoiled numerous Bachelor, Bachelorette, and Bachelor in Paradise seasons beginning in 2009.

Adding fuel to the fire, gossip site DeuxMoi posted a submission on Thursday, May 14, that confirmed Reality Steve’s reporting—but with a slight tweak.

“The rumors of Taylor Frankie Paul’s Bachelorette season returning are true, but it’s a little different than it’s being reported,” the anonymous submission read. “Most of the season will be released only on Hulu between July and August, but the live finale will air on ABC at the end of August; this will also be where the new Bachelor is revealed.”

The post added, “ABC is hoping to finalize a deal with Robert Irwin to lead the show this fall, but if not, the next choice is Taylor’s runner-up from her season. Should be an exciting next few months for the Bachelor Franchise.”

After the DeuxMoi report went viral, Reality Steve confirmed it aligns with what he’s heard from his sources.

“It’s coming from DeuxMoi so take it with a grain of salt. But the only thing I’ve heard since my initial report that it was going to air this summer on ABC was it is still going to air in 2026. This thing will not get shelved,” he said in a video posted on Friday, May 15. “This report makes somewhat sense to me because ABC has announced their summer schedule and their fall schedule and the Bachelorette isn’t on it. So it seems like the only way they could do it would be this way.”

“I really don’t think that they are just never going to air Taylor Frankie Paul’s season,” he added. “I would expect to see Taylor Frankie Paul’s season airing sometime in 2026.”

Paul’s season was scheduled to premiere on Mar. 22. On Mar. 19, ABC pulled the plug on her season after TMZ released a never-before-seen video that appeared to show Paul assaulting her ex-boyfriendDakota Mortensen in 2023.

In a statement to TMZ, a Disney Entertainment spokesperson said, “In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of The Bachelorette at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family.”

The Draper and West Jordan police departments in Utah also opened separate domestic violence investigations regarding alleged altercations between Paul and Mortensen that occurred in February 2026.

In April, the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office announced they declined to file charges against Paul for the alleged incidents.
