NFL wife Kelly Stafford was among those who dressed up as Taylor Swift this Halloween, but not everyone was “Enchanted” to see the photos of her costume.
Some Swifties found it curious that Stafford, the wife of Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, decided to dress up as the “Anti-Hero” singer, considering some of the controversial statements she recently made about Swift.

In case you missed it, Stafford made headlines this week after revealing on her podcast, The Morning After, that she admittedly felt “tired” of how much NFL coverage Swift got at the Chiefs games last year after she sparked up a romance with tight end Travis Kelce.
“I kinda got tired of the Chiefs coverage of it—actually, the NFL’s coverage—of this budding relationship last year,” Stafford said on the Thursday, Oct. 31 episode of her show, while clarifying that she “never once said that I don’t like Taylor Swift.”
She went on to say, “It was a good business decision for the NFL, but I almost felt like it was outshining the games.” Stafford also confessed that she felt “a little jealous” of the attention Swift and Kelce were getting.
“All of a sudden the football game was the sideshow,” she lamented.
That’s why fans were shocked to see Stafford’s Halloween costume this week, as she and her husband recreated Swift and Kelce’s looks from the US Open over the summer.
Their four daughters were also dressed up as different versions of Swift from her Eras Tour show, which they recently attended as a family.

After seeing Stafford’s photos of her family’s costumes, many fans took to social media to express their confusion, while some even slammed the Rams WAG for the “bizarre” behavior.
“She’s trying way too hard for attention lmao how embarrassing,” one person wrote on X (formerly Twitter), while another called Stafford out for being “petty” with her past comments about “jealousy” towards Swift.
“Weird behavior with a touch of jealousy,” someone else added.
Another tweet read, “So the woman that said she was sick of seeing Taylor during football season…checks notes…dressed up as her for Halloween??”
But as some fans pointed out, Stafford recently attended Swift’s Eras Tour with her husband and kids, an experience that is likely to have turned the whole family into full-blown Swifties.

“If you listen to her podcast this week she fully admits she had a bit of jealousy that Taylor was getting so much attention,” one X user explained. “They went to her concert last week as VIP guests and not surprisingly emerged as Swifties.”
“I think this is an olive branch,” someone else pointed out. “As a chiefs fan I’ll take it.”
