Fans of Taylor Swift were stunned after a Swedish DJ at Universal Music possibly confirmed that the singer is working on her next album.
The comment about Swift’s next music release came from Jacob Criborn, a music producer and one-half of the DJ duo known as Nause, who talked about his recent music collaborations in a new interview, name-dropping talented multi-instrumentalist Erik Arvinder and Swift.

On X, a fan account for Swift with the username TSUpdating flagged the interesting news, sharing the video from Universal Music Sweden in which Nause talked about working with Arvinder on a composition with a variety of instruments, both string and wind, before saying, “Vi ska bara göra klart Taylor Swift’s platta,” which translates to, “We’re just finishing Taylor Swift’s album.”

Fans of Swift went wild after hearing the comment about a new album potentially being in the works, with one excitedly writing, “i’m losing my mind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
“omggggg seated and excited!!!!” said another, while someone else declared, “I fear that TS12 will be…… THE BEST ALBUM EVER MADE!!!!!”
A different fan simply wrote, “*SCREAMING*,” in response to the possible update.
Others reacted to the potential collaboration with Arvinder, with comments like, “violin in TS12 oh my,” “I’m now imagining ts12 being orchestral and it would sound heavenly,” and “TS12 with classical aspects? I AM SAT.”
After the interview clip went viral, Universal Music Sweden removed the video, and there has been no official confirmation of new music from Swift or her record label.
