Taylor Swift Hits Apple Music Milestone Ahead of ‘Life of a Showgirl’ Release

27 August 20253 Mins Read

From Taylor Swift’s engagement to Travis Kelce to her upcoming album, the pop star continues to make headlines, captivating fans and dominating the music world.

With just days until the highly anticipated release of her studio album Life of a Showgirl, the music sensation marks a new career milestone.

Due to the “Look What You Made Me Do” hitmaker’s popularity and massive fan engagement, Apple Music announced that Swift has become the platform’s most-favorited artist to date.

“Swifties are ready for The Life of a Showgirl. @taylorswift13 is the most-favorited artist on Apple Music,” the post reads.

Following the streaming platform’s announcement, fans and Swifties flooded the comment section with excitement as they celebrated her new achievement.

“Engagement plus an album girl let me process,” one wrote.

“Mother is FEEDING all of us and I’m so here for it,” a user chimed in.

“Our girl is racking in ALL the manifestations,” a commenter added.

A Swiftie who seemed thankful for the artist’s new title said, “How are we so blessed?”

“Favorited since 2023,” a follower added.

This is not the first time that Apple Music has celebrated Swift’s success in music. In 2020, the platform named her “Songwriter of the Year,” followed by “Artist of the Year” in 2023 in recognition of her record-breaking career. This includes being the highest-grossing tour of all time and having a high volume of songs on the charts.

Interestingly, her 2019 song “Cruel Summer” from the album Lover became one of the biggest songs of the summer on Apple Music worldwide.

In addition to this, the company also acknowledged the success of The Eras Tour, which kicked off in March of the same year.

At the time, Swift expressed her gratitude and shared how “honored” she was for the title.

“Thank you to every single one of you for making this year the most incredible, joyful, celebratory year ever,” she said, as mentioned in a press release, adding, “From streaming the music nonstop to screaming it together in real life at the shows, dancing chaotically in movie theaters, none of this would have been possible without you. Thank you so much.”

On the other hand, fans are thrilled to get their hands on her 12th studio album, which will be released on October 3.

The release date was officially announced during her appearance on Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce’s podcast New Heights.
