Taylor Swift’s fans are once again buzzing with theories after Travis Kelce shared a heartfelt message about the pop superstar during a recent interview.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end appeared on The Pat McAfee Show, where he revealed that Swift’s passion for her work helped inspire him to continue playing in the NFL.
While the moment was meant to highlight their supportive relationship, many fans quickly focused on something else: Swift’s songwriting.
Kelce explained that watching his fiancée repeatedly return to her creative process made him reflect on his own football career.
“We share the same love for what we do,” Kelce said. “Fortunately we’ve had this desire since we were kids in our selective professions.”

He added that Swift’s dedication to making music continues to motivate him.
“It’s amazing to see her keep going to the table, keep finding new things to write about, keep finding new melodies,” Kelce said. “And on top of that, still seeing her have that love and joy in what she does.”
For Kelce, that energy became part of the reason he decided to return for another NFL season rather than retire.
“Of course that’s motivating,” he said. “That’s motivating for anybody to see, let alone my fiancée.”

But the comments quickly sparked a wave of speculation online about Swift’s future music.
Soon after the interview aired, fans flooded social media with theories that Kelce may have hinted at something bigger: a possible 13th studio album.
Swift is famous for the number 13, which she has often called her lucky number. Because of that connection, many fans refer to her potential next album as “TS13.”
Some listeners believe Kelce’s comment about Swift “finding new things to write about” means she may already be working on new material.
One fan wrote, “So what I’m hearing is ts13 is in the works.”
Another fan added, “TS13 HERE WE GO.”
The speculation grew quickly as more reactions poured in. One user shared their excitement by saying, “I feel like Travis just confirmed that TS13 is officially in the works oh we are not ready for TS13!!”
Others echoed the same idea, posting messages like, “we are NOT ready for TS13,” while another predicted a timeline, writing, “so ts13 coming in 2027 !!!!!”

Despite the online excitement, there has been no official confirmation that Swift is working on a new album. Her most recent studio release, The Life of a Showgirl, arrived in October 2025 and remains the focus of her current music era. Her experiences inspired the project during the massively successful The Eras Tour.
The album continues to perform strongly, helped by hit songs like “The Fate of Ophelia” and “Opalite.” Recently, another track from the album, “Elizabeth Taylor,” was released as a single and quickly gained major radio attention.
Swift has also been celebrating a major milestone in her career after regaining full ownership of her music catalog in 2025. At the same time, fans are watching for other possible announcements, including the long-awaited re-recording of her 2006 debut album.
Meanwhile, Kelce’s decision to continue playing for the Chiefs means he will return for his 14th season in the NFL. The veteran tight end recently signed a one-year deal with the team after briefly considering retirement following a difficult 2025 season.
For now, there is still no confirmation that “TS13” is coming anytime soon. But if Swift’s history is any guide, even the smallest comment can send fans into full detective mode.
