Nathan Griffith — Jenelle Evans‘ ex-fiancee, and the father of her 10-year-old son Kaiser — is facing one to four years of prison time after pleading guilty to strangling his ex-girlfriend nearly one month ago.
As confirmed by multiple outlets, Griffith, 37, pleaded guilty to the felony charge of “Battery Constituting Domestic Violence- Strangulation,” following his alleged strangulation of 21-year-old Anastasia Biddle, his then-girlfriend, on April 24.
At the time, the Teen Mom 2 alum claimed the fight began because Biddle was accusing him of cheating on her. Biddle, for her part, claimed in an Instagram Live that Griffith climbed on top of her in their Las Vegas home and began choking her.
Biddle managed to call the police amid the incident, who arrested the former MTV personality — who did not initially cooperate with the cops — on “domestic battery by strangulation.”

In addition to Griffith’s guilty plea on the strangulation charge, he also violated his parole. In fact, this is not the first time he allegedly strangled a woman close to him; he was infamously arrested in 2023 for allegedly strangling his sister.
To make matters more complicated, Evans — who also lives in Vegas — has inserted herself into the drama, defending Griffith before his arrest and even offering for him to stay in their son Kaiser’s room before he was detained by cops. By Evans’ own admission, Griffith was drunk at the time, and she has repeatedly stated that her ex hadn’t seen their son in two years. (In addition to Kaiser, Griffith is also father to estranged daughter Emery from a previous relationship.)

Teen Mom fans — who have watched the never-ending drama between the exes play out for years — were horrified and furious at Griffith’s most recent domestic violence arrest, to say nothing of Evans’ defense of her ex. (Evans and Griffith’s wife — he is still legally married to May Oyola — also attempted to retrieve some of Griffith’s items from Biddle’s home in the aftermath of his arrest.)
Evans, for her part, is dealing with familial drama of her own, recently airing out her 15-year-old son Jace’s mental health issues in a detailed TikTok video, explaining why she chose to place him with his estranged father, Andrew Lewis, down in Florida.

In addition to sons Jace and Kaiser, Evans is also mom to 9-year-old daughter Ensley, whom she shares with estranged husband David Eason. After a year of separation, the pair are going through a messy divorce.
