Hilton announced in October 2026 that Tempo by Hilton Munich Airport Arena is planned to open alongside the arena in 2029. The project marks the first Tempo by Hilton hotel in Germany.
The hotel will be located on the MUNICH ARENA live entertainment campus near Munich Airport. MUNICH ARENA is planned as a concert venue in Munich.
Tempo by Hilton Munich Airport Arena has been signed under a management agreement with Allresto Munich Airport Hotel and Restaurants GmbH, a subsidiary of Munich Airport. Allresto has leased the hotel from SWMUNICH Accomodation GmbH, part of the MUNICH ARENA group.
The hotel will have 199 rooms. Each room is planned to include a “Get Ready Zone,” a lighted area with a vanity mirror, custom desk and open wardrobe.
Plans also include a gym with cardio and weights sections and recovery areas. A ground-floor café is planned to offer food and beverage options, while a rooftop bar is planned to serve cocktails and small plates.
The Tempo by Hilton brand has 86 properties operating and in its pipeline. The brand’s European signings include Belfast City Centre, Lisbon Parque das Nações and Reykjavik.
