TFE Hotels will open two Adina-branded apartment-hotels in Cambridge and Glasgow in the third quarter of 2025.
TFE Hotels, an Australian hotel group, is set to enter the UK market with the opening of two Adina-branded apartment-hotels. The Hobson Cambridge by Adina and The Wellington Glasgow by Adina are scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2025.
The Hobson Cambridge by Adina will feature 56 units and is located in a former police station. The property will incorporate historic architecture with modern design elements, featuring a bar and restaurant within a glass-roofed courtyard. The location is intended to cater to local, academic, and cultural clientele.
The Wellington Glasgow by Adina will offer 98 studio apartments. It is situated near George Square, providing access to the city’s business, entertainment, and nightlife areas. The Glasgow property aims to serve both leisure and business travelers.
This expansion marks TFE Hotels’ first venture into the UK market, following its operations in Germany, Austria, Denmark, Switzerland, Hungary, Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore. The company views the UK as a strategic market that complements its existing operations and enhances global visibility.
The establishment of a UK Country Office is part of TFE Hotels’ strategy to strengthen its presence in Europe. The company aims to serve long-haul travelers from Asia-Pacific and North America, as well as European guests seeking apartment-style accommodations.
Both properties are set to open in the third quarter of 2025.
