Pride in Toronto is not a one-size-fits-all celebration — in fact, the celebration itself is built upon the fact that everyone is different. For some people, celebration looks like sweating it out on the dance floor until 2 a.m. For others, it means finding community over board games, watching movies on the big screen, or sitting front row at a drag show with $5 bills in hand.
Here in Toronto we do the absolute most, with special events and somewhere to toast every single night, and this year’s lineup is sizing up to be the biggest celebration yet.
While Toronto’s parade is a sight to be seen, the fun in this city stretches far beyond that final weekend. There’s parties, performances, movie nights, crafting workshops, karaoke nights, historical tours, brunches, outdoor family events and enough drag to keep this city covered in glitter well into July.
Whether you want to party, pop in for just one drink, or find yourself feeling that sense of community, these are some of the best Pride events happening in Toronto this month.
Community pride events
1. Trans Rally and March
When: June 26 | Where: Hayden Street Riser at Church and Hayden streets
Join thousands of trans and non-binary marchers for one of the largest, most exciting Pride events in the world. A community fair will feature groups and members of the community who will have booths to sell their art, and the march kicks off at June 26.
2. Dyke Rally and March
When: June 27 | Where: Hayden Street Riser at Church and Hayden streets
Beginning as a grassroots match, this event on June 27 celebrates all things Dykes and Lesbian and will consist of a rally, a march, a community fair, and an after party which with high-energy performances and DJs.
3. Pride Parade
When: June 28
Arguably the most anticipated event of Toronto Pride, get dressed up in your rainbow best and watch more than 250 groups and over 25,000 marchers walk, dance, and spread the love down Yonge Street.
4. Night at the Aqueerium
When: June 19 | Where: Ripley’s Aquarium
Have a Night at the Aqueerium with Ripley’s on Friday, June 19 — featuring drag performers, ocean-themed cocktails and plenty of under the sea fun. Resident Queen of Aqueerium Juice Boxx returns, along with Star Doll Doll, Andy Christ and Ivory Towers. DJ C Mac and DJ Sumation will be spinning tunes all night long, and there will be special dance performances from Milkshake and Kofi!
5. Pup Your Pride
When: June 27 | Where: Ramsden Park
If any event isn’t complete for you without your dog in tow, head to Pup Your Pride on Saturday, June 27 to celebrate! Shop for some pet pride swag, keep your dog cool with pup ice cream and prepare for the best dressed contest. And of course, take part in a march that takes you down Church Street for the official dog parade of Toronto Pride.
6. Queer Skate Toronto
When: June 28 | Where: Christie Pits Skatepark
Bring a friend or make new ones at Queer Skate Toronto’s June Jam: Pride Edition, a celebration of pride happening on Sunday, June 28. The event will include free one-hour lessons followed by contests, fun, drinks and prizes.
7. Church-Wellesley Village tours
When: June 13, 17 | Where: The Arquives (34 Isabella St.)
The ArQuives is offering Church-Wellesley Village walking tours focused on Toronto’s 2SLGBTQ+ history. The tours begin at 34 Isabella St., with dates on Saturday, June 13, and Wednesday, June 17.
For anyone looking to ground their Pride celebrations in the city’s queer history, this is a meaningful way to spend an afternoon.
8. Queer Game Night
When: June 16 | Where: Snakes and Lattes Annex
Get REAL is hosting a Queer Game Night at Snakes & Lattes in the Annex, located at 600 Bloor St. W. The fun takes place on Tuesday, June 16 from 6 to 10 p.m.
Think board games, socializing and the possibility of making new friends over a deeply competitive round of something that was definitely supposed to be casual. (doesn’t it always start that way?)
9. Fruit Forward
When: June 16 | Where: Paradise Grapevine
Fruit Forward, a new social event by Queer Mingle, takes place Tuesday, June 16, at 7 p.m. at Paradise Grapevine, located at 841 Bloor St. W.
Admission is a suggested $10 donation, but the event is pay-what-you-can. It’s low-pressure, social and very much made for people who want to meet others without yelling over a DJ booth. This event is sapphic-centred!
Parties
1. Freedom Party Toronto
When: June 111 | Where: Royal Ontario Museum
Rainbow Railroad’s annual Freedom Party returns on Thursday, June 11, from 6:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. at the Royal Ontario Museum.
This major Pride season kickoff is both a celebration and a fundraiser with proceeds supporting Rainbow Railroad’s work helping at-risk LGBTQIA+ people around the world find safety. This year’s event also marks 20 years of the organization’s work and includes a Canada’s Drag Race reunion with Priyanka, Scarlett Bobo and Lemon. And yes, you read that correctly — it is at the ROM, which automatically makes it 10 times more fabulous.
2. Drag Dance Party
When: June 23 | Where: Two Hearts Chapel
If your ideal Pride celebration involves actually getting on the dance floor instead of just standing beside it, Drag Dance Party is worth a stop by.
Taking place on June 23 from 7:30 to 11 p.m. at the recently opened Two Hearts Chapel, the event combines a dance class, dance party and fundraiser all in one. The hosts welcome all bodies, genders and expressions for a night of movement, music and unapologetic queer joy. They carry this into their business model — all proceeds support Get REAL’s Gender Joy Gear Program which helps provide gender-affirming gear to gender-diverse youth.
3. Bi Bi Baby: BIs Gone Wild
When: June 20 | Where: Buddies in Bad Times Theatre
Toronto’s biggest bisexual Pride party returns on June 20 from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. at none other than Buddies in Bad Times Theatre.
Bi Bi Baby is known across the city for their immersive parties that go beyond the usual dance floor and aim more for immersive art playground. This month’s celebration will feature drag performers, burlesque, pole dancers, tattoos, projection installations, three DJs and multiple rooms to explore throughout the night. Tickets range from $23 to $33 and while the party celebrates bisexuality, all members of the queer community and allies are welcome to join in on the fun.
4. Sapphic Pride Prom
When: June 20 | Where: Society Clubhouse
Missed your high school prom? Hated your high school prom? Wish you could do it all over again? Sapphic Pride Prom does just that.
This pay-what-you-can event takes place June 20 from 10:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. at Society Clubhouse, located at 967 College St. Guests are encouraged to break out their old prom attire, ren-faire costumes, tuxedos, sequins or anything else collecting dust in the back of their closet. The evening includes a best-dressed competition and the chance to be crowned prom royalty. It’s campy, nostalgic and feels a little different from the typical club night.
5. Green Space Festival
When: June 24–28 | Where: Barbara Hall Park
Slay all day at an alfresco party of your choosing with the Green Space Festival! With eight unique parties, each with their own theme (ranging from Lipstick Jungle to Disco Disco), there are so many opportunities other to dance and enjoy incredible performances!
6. Toronto Pride Boat Party 2026
When: June 26 | Where: River Gambler (176 Cherry St.)
A four-hour boat cruise on the lake? Yes, please! Also on board on Friday, June 26 will be live music, dancers, guest performances and plenty of fun — expect 500 high-energy guests ready to celebrate all night.
7. Pride Pool Party
When: June 18 | Where: Cabana Toronto
DJs, drag legends and dancers galore are set to make a splash at Pride’s annual pool party at Cabana. Best of all, Juicy Love Dion & Athena of RuPaul’s Drag Race fame will be headlining the event, so it’s sure to be a fashionable affair. Sanjina DaBish Queen from Canada’s Drag Race will also be there, along with her drag son Rico Rico. The theme this year is Mykonos, so come dressed in your best Grecian attire!
8. Blockorama 2026
When: June 25–28 | Where: Mill St. Wellesley Stage
Over the last 27 years, Blockorama has been a space that celebrates Black love, joy, music, and community. With a vibrant history that spotlights Toronto’s Black performers, artists, DJs, drag artists and ballroom, it’s a must-attend Pride event. This year, hosts Ziosaa and Lexxicon will be introducing artists such as Afrique Like Me, D!xon, Devine Darlin, Molly and Young Teesh.
Drag
1. Drag Me To The Opera
When: June 25 | Where: Granite Brewery
Opera and drag are colliding at Granite Brewery on Thursday, June 25, from 7 to 9 p.m. for Drag Me To The Opera. If you’re looking to expand beyond the traditional drag we so often see here in this city, Drag Me to The Opera offers a fusion style drag performance that elevates the evening.
Hosted by Gregory Finney and Toronto drag favourite Selena Vyle, the one-night event brings opera together with drag performers including Dank Sinatra for a night of camp, drama and big theatrical energy. Located at 245 Eglinton Ave. E. with tickets are $25.57, with a minimum $25 food or drink spend at the venue.
2. The Drag Ball
When: June 27 | Where: TD Main Stage
If you only attend one event per year at Pride, let it be this one. This is one massive drag showcase during Pride weekend.
The free outdoor event is a nine-hour spectacle featuring local stars, international performers and more than 70 drag acts. It is big, loud, glittering and the over-the-top kind of Pride weekend programming that Toronto does best. Expect kings, queens, crowds and performances that make standing in Nathan Phillips Square for several hours totally fun.
3. Miss Moço at The Drake
When: June 13, 20, 27 | Where: The Drake Hotel
Drag brunch is a rite of passage in this city, and Miss Moço at The Drake Hotel is a solid place to start.
The weekly Saturday show combines brunch, drag and a raunchy kind of humour that hovers on the line of too far. If you have never done a drag brunch before, Pride Month is the perfect excuse to fix that immediately.
4. Pride at the Toronto Zoo
When: June 13 | Where: Toronto Zoo
Celebrate Pride among the pride (of lions) at the Toronto Zoo! Brings the kids to traverse the Rainbow Zone, complete with colourful photo ops and activities. In the evening, Juice Boxx, Batty Banks, Minhi Wang, Lena Di Matrix and Manny Dingo take the stage for the Toronto Zoo’s annual Eleganza Extra-Zoo-Ganza Drag Show.
5. Roller Drag Ball
When: June 17 | Where: Downtown Yonge
The Roller Drag Ball is back this year, and it’s going to be bigger and bolder than ever! Featuring live DJ sets, free roller skate rentals, a Pride Market and more, don’t miss the main event — Drag on Wheels, an incredible drag performance on skates.
Arts and culture events
1. Kickoffs and Keychains
When: June 22 | Where: Kimpton Saint George
Kimpton Saint George is hosting Kickoffs and Keychains on Monday, June 22, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at 280 Bloor St. W.
The Pride and soccer-inspired creative workshop invites guests to decorate custom keychains and carabiners while enjoying music, game-day snacks and the chance to get to know. Entry is by RSVP and donation to Friends of Ruby.
2. Pride Projected
When: June 7-21 | Where: Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema
If your idea of Pride involves a giant bucket of popcorn and some queer cinema history, Hot Docs has you covered. The Pride Projected series hands programming duties over to local queer film icons Peter Knegt, Michelle Mama and Saffron Maeve, who have selected beloved documentaries including Shades of Feeling: Five and I Am Divine. Think of it as a crash course in queer film culture with the bonus of seeing it on the big screen.
3. Hedwig and the Angry Inch 25th Anniversary Tour
When: June 28 | Where: Danforth Music Hall
One of the most influential queer films ever made is celebrating its 25th anniversary, and creator and star John Cameron Mitchell is coming with it. The evening includes a 4K screening of Hedwig and the Angry Inch, an audience Q&A, behind-the-scenes stories and an acoustic performance from Mitchell himself.
4. Thank God I’m a Lesbian: A Dykeumentary Screening
When: June 15 | Where: Three Dollar Bill
Three Dollar Bill’s monthly lesbian movie night gets a Pride Month edition with a screening exploring the diversity of lesbian identities and experiences. The atmosphere is casual, community-focused and perfect for anyone looking to swap the club scene for storytelling.
5. Really Happy Someday
When: June 11 | Where: Soulpepper Theatre
Soulpepper’s community movie night spotlights Really Happy Someday, a Toronto-made indie drama following a trans musical theatre performer navigating identity, relationships and a changing voice. Stay after the screening for a conversation with co-writer and star Breton Lalama and Soulpepper Artistic Director Paolo Santalucia.
6. Youth Hub Pride Movie Night
When: June 19 | Where: Toronto Public Library Northern District Branch
Pride isn’t just for adults. Teens can head to the Northern District Toronto public library for a free 2SLGBTQ+ movie screening featuring audience-voted favourites like Love, Simon and I Saw the TV Glow. Snacks are included, and everyone is welcome.
7. Gay AF Comedy Pride-Stravaganza 2026
When: June 13 | Where: Campbell House Museum
Back for its fifth year, Gay AF Comedy will be serving big laughs at Pride-Stravaganza 2026 on Saturday, June 13. This year’s headliner is queer comedy icon Martha Chaves and the event will be hosted by Canadian Comedy Award winner Robert Watson. There will also be sets by Mikael Melo, Bee Bertrand, Tamara Appleton and Nile Seguin.
