The Best October Prime Day Deals, From Blenders to Fancy Hand Wash

7 October 20259 Mins Read

October is here! The decorative gourds are out; the jack-o-lanterns are carved, much to the delight of the neighborhood squirrels; and your homemade Halloween costumes are… a work in progress. (The hot glue guns are out, as are those damn squirrels that have chomped all the pumpkins on my porch to bits.)

Another thing that the spookiest season brings? Amazon’s October Prime Big Deal Days! That’s right, the e-commerce behemoth is back with another round of sales October 7–8, and thankfully you don’t need to go trick-or-treating for killer deals. Load your cart the way you used to fill a pillowcase with candy as a kid. You can even add candy to your digital shopping basket, because you’re an adult now (and luckily some of my favorite gummy bears are on sale for Prime Day). Who’s going to tell you no? Get the candy if you want it!

We already shared some of the fab early Prime Day deals worth grabbing (many are still on sale, so check out that link), but as is the case with Prime Day, there are always more. Just in time for the coziest season, we’ve selected top-notch products that are ideal for baking, roasting, resting, and gift giving, like a multi-use cordless hand blender that’s ready to get to work this soup season, fancy-smelling hand soap for bougie-fying your kitchen sink, and an ice machine that’s tailor-made for the iced coffee all year round set.

Let’s get into the treats, no tricks!

Glass food storage (for all the leftovers that’ll fill up the fridge)

We’re entering prime Big Eating Season™. That means it’s also cooking-stuff-in-huge-batches season. That means leftovers. I’m guessing you’ve lost a few storage containers this year (as is customary), so it’s the perfect time to stock up on Pyrex glass storage containers. This 12-piece set with lids is 20% off. Bonus: these charming glass bowl containers are also on sale.

A set of red, blue, and green-lidded pyrex storage in various shapes and sizes.

$38

I’ve been getting super into meal prep of late, and after gilding my fridge with every kind of storage container (yes, including, the ones that allow me to live out my The Bear fantasy), the simplicity of these standard Pyrex ones can’t be beat. The lids stay on and don’t accumulate any food odors, and I like that they’re clear so I can see what’s inside at an easy glance. I honestly can’t have enough of these on hand. — ED

The affordable amazing-smelling hand soap that’s a Le Labo dupe

Fancy hand wash has been ruling my life, but the extra nice ones are a splurge I simply cannot make while entering the holiday season with 10 nieces and nephews to buy gifts for. Thankfully Method’s gel hand soap in their vetiver-amber scent is not only a spot-on dupe for Le Labo’s uber popular $85 Santal 33 hand soap, but also on sale for 16% off. There’s Santal at home!

It feels illegal to know about this was the thought I first had upon smelling Method’s Vetiver + Amber hand soap, which is a shockingly successful dupe for Le Labo’s $83 Santal 33 hand soap, which has become something of an olfactory icon, known for its ability to deliver my personal holy trinity of scent profiles: woodsy, sweet, and slightly spicy. A single bottle of Method’s suds will cost you under $8 on Grove, but I recently bought this three-pack on Amazon to make sure my kitchen and restroom are well-stocked – plus, it’s always nice to have a spare bottle as a host gift.

The dreamy, design-y coffeemaker with a cult following

Technivorm’s Moccamaster coffee machine has long been an object of the Eater staff’saffection. I, myself, took advantage of July’s Amazon Prime Day sale to finally call one my own, and I’m so happy I did. Its sexy mid-century modern design makes it a countertop stunner, and, of course, it brews a gorgeous cup of drip coffee. This crowd fave in the brushed silver is once again on sale for 33% off. Java heads, get into it.

A Vitamix ready for your all your blends

Whether you’re liquifying blueberries for smoothies, root veggies for a fragrant soup, or chocolate and malt for an indulgent dessert, the Vitamix Propel Series 750 Blender is up for the challenge. This big boy has a devoted following for a reason. It’s sturdy, handles large-capacity blends with ease while remaining petite enough to fit in a cabinet, and has a self-cleaning function for those of us who loathe to scrub strawberry pulp off blender blades. All worth it at 41% off.

Soup season’s greatest secret weapon

KitchenAid’s cordless hand blender does all of the same work of chopping, blending, whipping and more while taking up less space in your cupboards or on your countertop than one of this big ol’ blenders. And with its cordless blender base, you can easily emulsify veggies in the pot to knock out a creamy soup. That 20% discounted price is dropping right on time.

The combo air fryer and toaster oven we love hard

Cue the Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro, an air fryer and convection oven called “the power user’s dream” by our team. Its super convection reduces cooking time by up to 30%, is big enough to fit a 13-inch pizza, and can handle roasting, toasting, broiling, baking, etc. And it’s $50 off.

Roast, air fry, and toast to your heart’s content with this Breville smart oven. Aside from looking much sleeker than your average air fryer, the stainless steel Breville air fryer-hybrid oven packs 11 automatic functions for reheating, broiling, slow cooking, and more.

Indulge in the crunchy delight of crushed ice, all day every day

I can’t quite describe the pure elation I feel when I discover that a soda fountain has crushed ice. Just thinking about the satisfying crunch of the rough pebbles engulfed in Diet Coke is making my mouth water. That experience can be had anytime with GE’s Opal Nugget Ice Maker, which produces perfect, chewable ice in just 10 minutes. At $250 off, this price makes ice feel… nice 🙂

The farmer’s market hates to see this tote bag coming

Picture this: You’re in a cute outfit strolling the local farmer’s market. Maybe you want some bright heirloom carrots to roast, or a plump butternut squash to chop into a thick risotto. Either way, those veggies are going home in your effortlessly cool Land’s End canvas tote bag that you got for 20% off.

A classically stylish set of silverware

Every home needs a set of simple, chic, classic silverware. It’s, like, an adult thing to invest in. Oneida’s stainless steel Easton set has a versatile, elegant design with a touch of mid-century vibe, making it a great starter set that you can build on. The five-piece flatware set is 43% off for Prime Day.

That’s that me, espresso, that never gets old

De’Longhi espresso machines are ones to be trusted if you’re a real java head. The Italian appliance manufacturer has been crafting the machines that make a primo cup of caff since 1902. But if you’re more of a latte guy, the Magnifica automatic espresso machine – now 38% off – has a built-in milk frother that makes a tasty latte and cappuccino. It can even churn out an iced coffee.

A robot to clean your floors

Listen, generally speaking, robots are not to be trusted — something about all those bolts and knobs and anthropomorphic mimicry feels wrong! But one place I welcome the robot takeover is in cleaning my house. You, too, can live The Jetsons life with a eufy Omni S1 Pro Robot Vacuum. At 43% off, with other versions also mega marked down, the vacuum also has a HydroJet Roller Mop system so your floors will shine brighter than a tin can. The eufy also has auto emptying, auto washing, auto heated air drying, and more auto functions. Beep bop boop, let the robots in!

A high-end turntable for DJing the holidays

Looking for some dinner party ambiance? Let a turntable do the vibe-setting. Audio-Technica has been making sleek, high-quality audio equipment since 1962; the company was founded in Japan by Hideo Matsushita, who had the sole vision of producing high-quality audio at a price point accessible to all. Its turntables are DJ mainstays for a reason, bringing form, function and affordability to the front, especially now at $70 off. This turntable is also equipped with Bluetooth wireless technology, so no need to change flip records if you’re more of the playlist type.

Plus, no more garlic fingers or onions tears.
