Fall is a time of bountiful harvests, sweet treats galore, and plenty of fun seasonal festivities for the whole family to enjoy. We’re here to put you onto some of the biggest and brightest fall festivals taking place across Vancouver and B.C. at large, so that you have no shortage of things to look forward to as the seasons start to shift.
From food festivals to art crawls to a craft beer fest, here are some of the biggest fall celebrations to look forward to in and around Vancouver this year (so far).
The fourth annual Taste of Abby Fall Food Fest celebrates Abbotsford’s abundant harvest and vibrant food culture, and it kicks off with an outdoor night market on Friday, Sept. 19, 2025. Ten days of fall fun at Jubilee Park and locations across Abbotsford will follow, ranging from farm-to-table meals to cooking classes to live music.

Taking place in Kamloops, BrewLoops is an annual celebration of the region’s craft beer and music scenes, and these fall sips will be accompanied by live entertainment all day long! And for the first time, the celebration will run for two days.

If wine is more your speed, consider checking out this fun event for wine enthusiasts. B.C.’s largest wine region is celebrating the autumn harvest with its annual Fall Okanagan Wine Fest, which features two events this year: the B.C. Wine Awards Celebration on Friday, Oct. 3, 2025, and the Sunset Drive Fall Outdoor Wine Tasting on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025.

Vancouver’s Heart of the City Festival is a time-honoured fall tradition that celebrates local art, artists, and community in the Downtown Eastside. Now in its 22nd year, the festival brings together neighbours and visitors alike for a chance to explore the community’s stories, culture, and heritage through over 100 events across 40 local venues. This includes intimate concerts, poetry readings, art talks, history walks, dance performances, gallery exhibits, and so much more.
This year’s theme is Dignity in Community, which organizers say honours “the everyday and extraordinary ways people care for each other, resist displacement, and make space to belong.”

Now in its 29th year, the Eastside Culture Crawl is a beloved fall tradition in East Vancouver, bringing four days of local art to the forefront of the city. Over 500 local artists and makers open their East Van studios to showcase their incredible works of art, which can range from watercolour paintings to jewelry, ceramics, furniture, pottery, printmaking, blown glass, and so much more.
When: Thursday, Nov. 20 to Sunday, Nov. 23, 2025
Time: 5 to 10 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday
Where: Open artist studios on Columbia Street, First Avenue, Victoria Drive, and the Waterfront

From Friday, Oct. 3 to Sunday, Nov. 9, 2025, the self-guided Vancouver Fall Food Fest is back in action with over 15 participating cafes, bakeries, and food spots across Metro Vancouver. So get ready to load up on limited-time sweet treats, including exclusive items with hojicha, chestnut, apples, and more classic autumn flavours.
More info about the items you can expect to find during this year’s festival will be released in mid-September, so stay tuned for more details as they come!

It’s nearly autumn season once again at VanDusen, and the beautiful gardens are celebrating with their annual Harvest Days festival, complete with access to the botanical gardens, maze area, and festive photo-op areas. If past years are any indication, visitors can soon look forward to indulging in tasty seasonal treats and live entertainment throughout the garden.

Later this fall, curated tastings, aprés celebrations, night markets, and silent discos are coming to locations across Whistler for the annual Cornucopia event, where “food and drink are turned loose.” From Nov. 6 to Nov. 16, 2025, visitors can explore inventive bites and sips over the course of 11 days of events, with more 2025 info coming soon.
